The New Wrinkle began as a side project of Amir Aghelnejad an MTV Canada on-air personality, and A. Traviss Corry. It's theme of art and global culture resonated with an audience of "early adopters", watching internet video around the planet. The New Wrinkle launched before Youtube, at the beginning of the medium. Though strategic development, social media marketing, and search engine strategy, it's audience grew to millions and it's crew grew to a professionally produced effort. Episodes were translated into 9 languages. 170 episodes were broadcast.
